(THUNDER BAY)– Contact North | Contact Nord, Ontario’s distance education and training network, is generating and supporting 14.3% more registrations from Ontarians in over 600 small, rural, remote, Aboriginal and Francophone communities in online and distance programs and courses from Ontario’s public colleges, universities, literacy and basic skills and training providers.

[THUNDER BAY/UTRECHT] – Contact North | Contact Nord, Ontario’s distance education and training network and SURF, the Netherlands’ collaborative information and technology organization for higher education and research have signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

Contact North | Contact Nord, Ontario’s distance education and training network, saw a 20.4% increase from fall 2010 to fall 2011 in the number of credit course registrations it supports for Ontario’s public colleges, universities, and high schools.
