(THUNDER BAY) – Contact North | Contact Nord, Ontario’s Distance Education & Training Network, today released its Top Ten Wish List for Online Learning in 2016, which outlines ten developments it hopes to see happen in online learning this year.
(THUNDER BAY) – Contact North | Contact Nord, Ontario’s Distance Education & Training Network, generated a 63.7% increase in the number of student registrations in online programs and courses for Ontario’s 24 public colleges, 22 public universities, and 250 literacy and basic skills and training providers during the 2014-2015 academic year (September 1, 2014, to August 31, 2015) as compared to the 2013-2014 academic year.

and 250 literacy and basic skills and training providers during the Fall 2014 academic semester as compared to the Fall 2013 semester.

offered by Ontario’s 24 public colleges, 22 public universities and 250 literacy and basic skills and training providers in the most recent spring/summer academic semester.

(THUNDER BAY, ON) – Contact North | Contact Nord, Ontario’s Distance Education &
Training network has partnered with the Open Educational Resource Foundation, a New
Zealand advocate for open education access, to help launch the Open Educational
Resource university network (OERu).
(THUNDER BAY) – Constance Lake First Nation community members will soon have access to a wide range of online and distance programs and courses from Ontario’s public colleges, universities, school boards, literacy and other training providers without leaving their community.
(THUNDER BAY)– Student registrations jumped another 18.4% in Winter 2013, as compared to Winter 2012, to a record 14,871 registrations generated and supported by Contact North I Contact Nord in online and distance programs and courses offered by Ontario’s public colleges, universities, high schools, literacy and basic skills and other training providers.
